ROTARY CLUBS MATCH. J. FARRELL WINS PROUD CUP. The fourth annual bogey handicap match for tho Proud Cup was played by members of tho Auckland Rotary Club at Middlemore yesterday, and was won by John Farrell, one up oil bogey. Thero were about 30 competitors and some good play was witnessed.

The cup, which is a. largo silver one. was presented to tho club by Mr. Proud, of Sydney, who is 11 prominent Rotarian. The winner retains the cud for one year and receives a replica of the trophy. The winner of tho cup last year was Percy Harrison Farrell will be congratulated on his success at the next luncheon of the club. AKARANA CLUB. The two finalists in tho Aknrana Golf Club's senior championship are B. J. Smith, jun., and H. A. Clarko. Clarke is playing well and should give Smith, last year's champion a hard fight.
