EX-SERVICEMEN'S DANCE.
BIRKENHEAD UNEMPLOYMENT A dance was held in the Victoria Hall, Birkenhead, last evening, under the auspices of the Birkenhead Ex-Servicemen's Association, in aid of the fund for the relief of local unemployment of members. The president, Dr. J. \V. Cravon, welcomed thoso present, and explained that the profits from the socials were to bo handed to the Borough Council for relief work, and that the amounts would bo subsidised to provide work for local returned soldiers. The Merrymakers' Orchestra supplied the nance music, and Messrs. F. Tothill and J. W. Canty directed proceedings.
