CONFERENCE AT NAPIER. MANY MATTERS DISCUSSED. [riY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, Wednesday. Delegates from all parts of New Zealand are attending the 15th anniial conference of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, which opened in ' Napier today, under the chairmanship of Mr. T. H- Gill, of Hastings. A welcome was extended to the members of the institute by the Mayor of Napier, Mr. J. Vigor Brown. The chairman's address and the presentation of reports occupied a considerable time. Tariff scales were discussed and the -adoption of a -uniform tariff for the whole of the Dominion was urged by several speakers. Views we're expressed on the proposal to rfiise'tho*rate of commission to 5 per cent, on the first £SOO of transactions, and it_ .was . left to the executive committee to.further consider the subject.
