WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN SOUTH. Auckland. —The weather was fine dtiring the week-end, but the conditions were changeable. Saturday .was bright and sunny and the wind was from the soutl'west. Yesterday the wind had changed to the north-east, and the sky was dull and cloudy during the day and overcast and threatening, in the evening. .After being practically steady at SO.OOin. for 24 linns, the barometer was falling yesterday afternoon, and the reading last evening was 29.75 in. Wellington.—Saturday in V* ellington was sunny, with very few clouds, but yesterday was overcast. There was » light northerly wind on both days and no rain.
Christ church. —The week-end in Cluistchurch was fine and much warmer. Yes* terday the weather was mild and slightly overcast. The barometer reading was 29.5 in., and it was falling, indicating the likelihood of a north-west storm. Hunedin. —The weather was fine at Dunedin on Saturday.
