BAPTIST TABERNACLE.
OLD FOLKS' DAY HELD. ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. The 75th anniversary celebrations of the Baptist Tabernacle were continued on Saturday and yesterday, when there were particularly large attendances. > Old folks' day was held on Saturday afternoon, when several hundred old people were taken from their homes to the Tabcrnaclo by motor-car. Musical items were given by the choir and tha old people were entertained at afternoon tea. Bouquets were presented to soma of the oldest of the visitors and a large birthday cake was cut by Mrs. Dewar, aged 96. During the afternoon a bright address was given by the veteran preacher, the Rev. C. Dallaston.
The services 'yesterday also attracted large congregations. The Rev. J. W. Kemp preached in the morning and in the evening Mr. Dallaston spoke on "The First Century's Message to the Twentieth." Special music was given by the choir.
The celebrations will conclude this evening, when baptismal services will be held and Holy Communion celebrated. The speakers will be Mi-. Dallaston and the Rev. H. Knowles Kempton.
