PROGRESS IN PAST YEAR.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The animal meeting of llie Community Sunshine Association was he'd this week, Sir George l'owlds presiding in (lie absence of the president, Mrs. .Nellie Ferner, owing (o illness.

The various Reports showed great activity in all departments, while llio linnnci;d statement was most satisfactory. The Sunshine School and solarium has mado remarkable progress under tho direction of Dr. L. Ludbrook and already thero are signs that the. institution will havo to be extended in the near future. Two very successful street collections were held during the year, tho total sum realised being £2203 IBs sd.

Mr, W. Put wain was elected a lifo member of the association in recognition of his untiring services in the past. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr. and Mrs. 1/. Arnoldson for their generosity in presenting their house at Ostend, Wailieke, for use as a health camp.
