The suggestion has been made that Sir Otto Nienieyor, who has been advising the Commonwealth Government upon various aspects of the economic condition in Australia, should visit New Zealand at the invitation ot the Government. In reply to a question on the point prior to his departure for Dannevirke to-day, the actingPrime Minister, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, said the Government had no announcement to make at the present time. Chambers of commerce and other organisations have proposed that Sir Otto should spend a shoit time in this country on his way back to Kngland. It is understood, however, that should lie accept an oHicial invitation, he will be asked to devoto his attention to some ono particular aspect of the Dominion's finance, and that he will not investigate the national finances in general.
