FRAU AMLINGER'S SUICIDE

SERIOUS ISSUE RAISED.

HUSBAND KILLED IN RUSSIA. TRAINING AS AN AVIATOR. REICHSWEHR AND RED ARMY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received August 29. 7.15 p.m.) Times Cable. BERLIN, August 28. The death of Fran Amlinger, who threw herself out of an air liner yesterday between Frankfurt and Erfurt, is likely to have political reactions. The Berliner Tageblatt says the doceasod woman committed suicide through grief at the death of her husband, who was a Reichswehr officer, nominally retired. He was killed while receiving, military aviation training in Russia. Germany has been forbidden by the Treaty of Versailles to maintain a military air force. Tho Tageblatt suggests that an officer of the Reichswehr would not be detached for aviation training in Russia without the knowledge of the Reichswehr high command.

Tho journal says it fears that the affair will spur French Nationalists to fresh attacks on Germany. It is a coincidence that on the day Frau Amlinger committed suicide the GOrmania published serious allegations concerning the relationship between the Reichswehr and tho Russian Red Army. It is declared that certain persons in the Reichswehr and tho Ministry were pursuing a pro-Soviet policy which implied tho existence or imminence of a military alliance.
