WOMEN GOLFERS.
FOURSOME CHAMPIONSHIP. NEW ZEALANDERS DO WELL. (Received August 29. 11.55 p.m.) MELBOURNE, August 29. The competitors in the women's foursome golf championship of Australia played to-day in a gale which made scoring difficult. Misses Kay and Rathbone (New Zealand), with a score of 90, were among the leaders at the end of tho first round.
