CREDITOR AS ONLY BIDDER. On account of a judgment- ho had secured for £lOl, a resident of Whitlon, New South Wiles, had a settler's rice farm put up for sale by auction with the object of securing the equity of tho unsatisfied writ. The judgment creditor was the only bidder, and tho farm was knocked down to him for £l. The Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission hold a first mortgage over the farm, and there are considerable liabilities. A similar incident occurred last year when a rice farm was knocked down for £lO.
