MOTORISTS CONFER.
NORTH ISLAND UNION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI. Friday. The annual conference of the North Island Motor Union was opened to-day, Mr. W. O'Callaghan presiding over a gathering of 30 delegates. A welcome was extended by the deputy-mayor, Mr. G. Darbyshire Mr. A. F. Anscll, M.P., addressed the conference in tho afternoon. Consideration was given to a number of remits.
