COLLISION AT CORNER.
TWO MOTOR-CARS DAMAGED.
ACCIDENT IN KHYBER PASS.
Two motor-cars were involved in a collision at the intersection of Khyber Pass Road and Park Road last evening, both vehicles being considerably damaged. One car contained two persons, while there were several passengers in the other, but no one was hurt.
One of the vehicles, which was owned and driven by Mr. W. Campton, of Old Mill Road, Grey Lynn, was travelling up Khyber Pass and was turning to enter Park Road, while the other, a smaller car, was travelling down Khyber Pass in the direction of Newmarket. 'Die two cars met in the middle of the intersection, and each suffered fairly extensive damage. The front of the small car was completely wrecked, the radiator, bonnet, front axle and springs all suffering. The windscreen was broken, while the rim of the steering-wheel was wrenched from the spokes by the force of the impact. The left side of the other car was damaged, the running board and mudguards being torn away, while the frame was twisted.
