AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
DONATIONS TO PRIZE-LIST,, Several replies to requests for donations to the prize list of tlio next agricultural and pastoral show were received at fj meeting of the council of the .Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association ycs< terday. The New Zealand Fricsian Associationi said it had decided lo give £2O additional prize money to the Friesian classes at tha next show, provided that the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association would give £IOO. The matter was referred to tho schedule committee. The Rycland Sheep Society of Neir Zealand forwarded a cheque for £2 2s, for the best Ryeland ram hogget. The New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association made a donation of £4 4s toward the prize money for the Milking Shorthorn section. The New Zealand Pig Breeders Association said it had donated several valuable trophies to the Royal Society, and therefore it was not in a position to grant sepai ate trophies to the various associations individually. The New Zealan Sheep Breeders' Association said it wo 3™ donato the same shields as last year, but could not give any additional prizes.
