THE ORANGE LIPSTICK.
Although there is nothing flagrant about her make-up on or off the courts, Mrs. Wills-Moody has adopted the striking and to her, becoming, orange shade of lipstick and rouge, with a distinctly beige-tan powder. This harmonises with her sunburned arms and sun-tan stockings, says a London correspondent. Another young tennis star very smartly dressed is Fraulein Gilly Aussein, whose favourite colour is yellow, and who makes up very smooth and pale, with an audacious dash of colour for her smiling little mouth. Miss Ryan is one of the few women who are never seen playing with an eyeshade or a bandeau, but whose short hair remains exquisitely in place with a wellmatched hair net.
