THE V NECKLINE.
Although bodices as a rule are simple in cut, a good deal of variety is shown in the necklines. The slightly oval and "V " openings are the two mostly favoured. The edges are simply strapped or faced in. Many high necks are finished with narrow scarf effects that tie in the centre or at one side close to the throat. Necklines are almost as simple as those for evening wear, as with such the largo beads and fantastic necklaces show off to better advantage than with a trimmed neckline. Further, there is a certain neatness in necklines of the season.
