TAKAPUNA SCHOOL SPORTS.
PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES The presentation of the Herbert Smith Trust Fund Cups for the Takapuna primly school's sports was made at the school by the Mayoress of Takapuna, Mrs. Williamson. The Mayor, Mr. J. W. Williamson, in addressing the children, said Takapuna should be proud of the achievement of its representative Savidan at the Empire Games in Canada. The objects of the fund were explained by the Rev. J. Hiddleston. Mention was made of the success of the school's junior Rugby football team. Presentations were made to the following relay teams:—Girls; Nora Williams, Myrtle Crosslcy, Una Thompson and Maisie Wrigley. Boys: P. Fenwick, F. Brinslov, R. Darrock and L. Jack.
