TRADE WITH BRITAIN.
Sir, —" C.H.N.," true to his custom, speaks of my statements as untrue. The United States of America is not a buyer to any, even modest, extent of our primary products, and our trading is all one-sided and difficult. Not so with England, now the only market for our products. " C.H.N.," as ever, is a real champion of foreign enterprise, but some day—like his free trade fetish—he will have to get in and pull the right way. The elementary economics "C.H.N.'.' takes me to task for not discussing are too apparent and purposeless and known even to schoolboys. I have more to do. J. H. Beale.
