PRESENTATION.
At a social evening held by tho Franklin Burns Club in the Public Hall, Drury, on Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. A. Maitland wero presented with a canteen of cutlery on tho occasion of their leaving tho district. In making the presentation the club president, Mr. Robert MacLeod, referred to tho excellent service rendered tor tho club by Mr. Maitland, who was one of the foundation members. The departure of Mr. and Mrs. Maitland was a distinct loss both to tho Burns Club and the district.
