PROGRESS AT TE AWAMUTU. CREDIT BALANCE FOR YEAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday. The balance-sheet presented at tho annual meeting.of tho Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday evening, over which Mr. J. Oliphant presided, showed a cash credit in current account of £49 14s 4d. Tho annual report showed a year of steady progress. The following officers for tho ensuing year wero elected President, Mr. "F. W. Bevin; vice-presidents, Mr. 'D. McArthur; council, Messrs.' L.' G. .Annstrong, S. Clark, W. Jeff cry, E. M.'McCarter, N. McAlister, J. Oliphant and H. C. Rainey; auditor, Mr. A. G. Warburton. '
