OLD PUPILS' DANCE. • On Thursday evening a most successful function took place in the Matamata Town Hall, when the old pupils of the High School held their annual dance. The hall was decorated with a canopy of scarlet and gold. Among those present were:—Mrs. J. F. Wells, who woro powder blue satin and silver lame; Mrs. B. Ellery, sea-green satin and apricot shawl; Miss Simpson, primrose floral taffeta; Miss G. Vosper, daffodil georgette; Miss M. Schwarz, ankle-length frock of ivory georgetto and satin; Miss Carter (Whangarei), mimosa georgette with appliqued tulle flounces; Miss Timms, orchid georgette; Miss Clarke, cameo pink georgette; Miss McGeehan, champagno georgette; Miss Waite, air force blue georgette; Miss A. Sutherland, raven's wing blue satin; Miss K.
