LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

CITY BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the city branch of the Leaguo of Mothers was held on Tuesday afternoon at Myers Kinder gar ten. The chair was occupied by tho president, Mrs. P. A. Lindsay. Mrs. Lindsay referred to the death of the late Auckland provincial secretary, Miss A. M. Arey. A voto of sympathy was passed, members standing in silence as a mark of respect. Mrs. Coats, acting president of tho Mothers' Union, addressed tho meeting, emphasising the need, of a greater Christian faith in our present-day problems. Mrs. Arthur Walton delighted all with her songs, oncl afternoon tozi was soivod by the committee.
