A mooting of tho Auckland Women's Christian Temperance Union was hold on Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Cook presiding. Delegates wero appointed to tho district convention. Miss Paul gave an address nt the devotional meeting ana JNliss E Campbell gave tho concluding part of her address on her tour through Palestine by motor Graphic descriptions of Jerusalem, Bcthe hern Bothanv, Jericho, tho Jordanand tho Dead Sen were given, with Biblical incidents connected with each place. Some beautiful pictures illustrating the customs of tho peoplo in and around Jerusalem wero shown. Miss Campbell spoke-of the War .Cefietery, which is beautifully kept in order.
