WEDDINGS.

DYNES-ROKE. The wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Matakana, recently of Miss Ivy Phyllis! Boko, youngest daughter of Air. and Mrs. A. Eoke, of Matakana, to Mi*. T. L. Dynes, of Rukuhia. Tho Revs. Mr. Yule and Mr. Grice officiated, the service being choral, and Mrs. Roper, of Warkworth, played the wedding music. The brido, who was given away by her father, wore an ivory georgette frock trimmed with silver lace and a veil of Brussels net held in place with orange blossoms, and falling to form a train. She carried a shower bouquet of stocks and camellias. Attending tho bride was MisS D. Watt, of Remuera, who wore a frock of pale pink georgette with head-dress to tone and carried a shower bouquet. Mr. Lister Dynes attended the bridegroom as best man. After tho ceremony a reception was held in the Sunday School hall, tho bride's mother receiving the guests in a frock of navy soie de chine and hat and wrap to tone. Sho carried a bouquet of violets and mauvo stocks. ~~ WALL—MAPP. 'The marriage took place on Tuesday at St. Mark's Anglican Church, To Aroha, of Miss Mavis Clare Mapp, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mapp, of Richmond Downs, Walton, to Mr. Francis William Wall, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Wall, of Blackford,, Somerset, England. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of cream charmolaine, with uneven hemline, and tight-fitting bodico trimmed with silver lace. Her veil "was held in placo by a coronet of orange blossoms and 6he carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers and roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Phyllis Mapp, sister of the bride, who wore a frock of blue georgette with tulle and tinsel head-dress, and Miss Edna Mapp, cousin, wearing' pink georgette, with similar head-dress. Both bridesmaids carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. The flower girls were Norma Mapp and Audrey Mapp, who woro frocks of orange and palo mauvo georgette respectively. Their caps wero of tulle to match and their bouquets of spring, flowers. The best man was Mr. Herbert Wall, brother of the bridegroom, and Mr. Claude Kilpin was groomsman. Tho officiating clergyman was the Rev. R. L. Connolly. . Tho reception, at which many guests wero present, including a largo number from Taranaki, where tho brides parents originally lived, was held in the Majestic Tearooms.
