SYDNEY TOWN HALL.

URGENT NEED OF REPAIRS. REPORT OF CITY CLERK. SYDNEY. August 13. The Sydney'town clerk, Mr. W. G. Layton, says something should be done to recondition the Town Hall, as he feared that an accident might happen. The building had been damaged as the result of recent adjacent blasting. Tbo roof of the porte-cochere was in such a condition that in wet weather the rain simply poured through. Huge cracks had developed in other parts of the building.
