TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT. STAFF LOCKED IN VAULT. MONTREAL, August 5. A bank manager in the town of St. Anne de Bellevue received a long-distance telephone call at noon yesterday stating that a Government inspector would call upon him later in the day. A well-dressed individual presented himself just after the bank had closed for the day, but two minutes later lie produced a revolver and locked the manager and six assistants in the vault.
