TURF CLUB'S LOSS.
A CALCUTTA MYSTERY. DISAPPEARANCE OF £15,000. (Received August 13, 10.33 p.m.) DELHI, August 13. A sum of £15,000, representing the total proceeds of the Royal Calcutta Turf Club's totalisator at Saturday's races, mysteriously disappeared while it was being transferred with a police escort from the racecourse to the club s office. An official of the club has been arrested on suspicion.
