MEETING OF PARISHIONERS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPOTIKI, Wednesday. The annual meeting of parishioners of St- Stephen's Church, Opotiki, was hold last evening, the new vicar, Bev. N. F. Benhani, presiding. Mr. Benliam emphasised the importance of the duplex envelope system, which, ho said, he hoped that every member would adopt. The election of officers resulted: — Vicar's warden, Mr. A. Braae; people's warden, Mr. E. A. . Buckall; vestry, Messrs N. F. Pattle, B. S. Vickers, 1' 11. Pearson, R. A. Hedley, W. S. Blandford, and G. T. Guide; lion, auditor, Mr. E. Chapman. A social evening was then spent, when a welcome was extended ttr Mr and Mrs. benliam.
