MOTOR CAMP PROPOSAL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. 1 7 The Hamilton Borough Council this evening appointed a committee consisting of the Mayor, Mr. J. 11. Fow, and Messrs. Tibb, Tyler, Luxford, Denz and Bourne, to colder with representatives of the Hamilton TCast Citizens' Association and the Hamilton branch, of the Auckland Automobile Association regarding the proposed .establishment of a motorists' camp nt Hayes' paddock on the eastern bank of the Waikato Iliver. It was decided that, pendiug the receipt of a report, to be prepared by the municipal Association, no action be taken with regard to revising the system of raising local revenue. It was also decided to urge upon, the Government the desirability of making some provision under which the public might purchase within a reasonable time properties offered to the Crown under section 45 of Valuation of Land Act, 1929.
