WEEK'S REMAND GRANTED. A taxi-driver, Trevor Cunningham, aged 50'(Mr. pleaded not guilty in the Police Court yesterday to charges of assaulting Louis Alfred Cordes and stealing from him a wallet containing a pension certificate and 10s in cash, the total value being The offences are alleged to have taken place at Auckland last Fridav.
On the application of the police, Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., remanded t)ie accused for a week, bail of £IOO being allowed.
