TEN YEARS OF MINISTRY.

THE REV. J. W. KEMP. TRIBUTES BY CHURCH MEMBERS. The Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, «ho lias j just comi>leled his tenth year of ministry, at the Baptist Tabernacle, received the congratulations of a large assembly on tha occasion of the 75th annual meeting of the church last evening. Mr. Kemp presided at a preliminary tea, when oppor-. tunity was taken by several speakers to convey to him the great regard in which ■ ho is held. Mr. F. N. Andrews voiced the sentiments of members and on behalf. of the church presented Mr. Kemp with a chiming clock. The business meeting followed. Mr,Stephen T. Page, the church secretary, presented an interesting report showing that much good work had been accomplished during the year. The treasurers reported a rather difficult year, but the result appeared very satisfactory considering the conditions prevailing. The total receipts were given as £4443 and tha accounts were closed with a small credit balance. On behalf of the church, Mr. Page oppressed hearty appreciation of a gift made by Mr. Kemp of a handsome Communion set. Special celebrations to mark the record of the Tabernacle will be held in the near: future. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows Secretary, Mr.Stephen T. Page;, Mr. W.
