CRIMES IN AUSTRALIA.
TAXI-DRIVER KILLED. YOUTH CHARGED WITH MURDER. (Received August 13, 12.35 a.m.) PERTH, August 12. Charles Patterson, aged 27, a taxidriver, was found shot dead nine miles from Perth. His body was in a sitting position at the wheel. Clifford Wray, aged 19, who had engaged Patterson's car, has been arrested on a charge of murder. STOREKEEPER SHOT. - SUICIDE OF ASSAILANT. (Received August 13, 12.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, August 12. Thomas Lee, a middle-aged man, shot Ann .Sullivan, proprietress of a small store at Camp Hill, and then shot himself. Both are dead. g It is understood that Lcc had been in ill-health and was worried.
