HEAT WAVE IN IRAK.

MANY DEATHS CAUSED. AMAZING TEMPERATURES. BASRA, August 10. A heat wave is enveloping Irak (Mesopotamia) which far exceeds in intensity that which is being experienced in America. At present Irak is tho hottest place on earth. The temperature in the shade at Basra reaches 130 degrees daily. Two members of the Royal Air Force and a number of other Europeans have died at Bagdad. Elsewhere there have been numerous casos of heat-stroke.' Even Arab coolies and Bedouins are dropping dead.
