HOSPITAL AT TAIHAPE.
ADMINISTRATION CRITICISED. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VIEW. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN'CORRESPONDENT.] TAIIIAPE, Tuesday, The policy of tho Wanganui Hospital Board regarding tho Taihape Public Hospital was discussed at a meeting of tho Taihape Chamber of Commerce last evening and tho following resolution was carried "That this chamber believes the present policy of the board in connection with tho administration of tho Taihape Hospital is opposed to tho best interests of the institution and of tho district Tho chamber considers that this policy will greatly increase (lie cost and at the sumo time prove less efficient than the policy formerly in operation; and that it is in Hiding a grave injustice on the three medical men who have rendered such valuable service over a long period, during which they have gained the confidence and esteem of (ho community. This chamber, therefore, requests tho board to review the position within six months from the dato (hat the present policy first came into operation.".
