EARTHQUAKE IN ITALY.
CHILDREN ESCAPE DEATH. DISCOVERY BY RESCUERS. I'OME, July 27. fStoiios mi' remarkable escaped in the recent, earthquake are now being told. Soldiers found three bisters at Meili, aged six, seven and eight, who had lain lor three days beneath debris. 'I lie eldest child had both her legs broken. Rescuers at Lacedonia heard taint cries, and discovered beneath a cupboard a baby four months old. l!otb parents lay dead close by.
