FOOTBALL FATALITIES.
YOUNG BOY INJURED.
STRUCK.ON THE HEAD, DEATH ON FOLLOWING DAY. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Monday,: Kenneth Ebbles Oram, aged 13. a son of Mr. and Mrs. C«. G. Oram, of Wallacevillc, received ;r severe blow on the head from another boy's knee while they were practising football on Saturday afternoon.lie walked home, but soon afterwards showed signs of serious injury. A doctor was called, but the boy hecame unconscious and died at 2 a.m. 0 u Sunday from cerebral hemorrhage.
CONCUSSION PROVES FATAL.

Fair of Oarnaru, as the result of concussion received in the Rugby match Old Bovs v. Mayfield that afternoon. Practically on the call o: lime, as Mr. Fan- was picking up the ball, his head camo in contact with an opposing plaver s knee The deceased, who had been assistant-' clerk of the Court for the last ihroe years was captaiji of the Old Bovs and one of the representative players who toured Otago and Southland iast yc.ir.
