LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
ROTO WARD. The Rotowaro branch of the Leaguo of Mothers hold their monthly meeting in tho Rotowaro Ilall recently, the president, Mrs. Birbeck, presiding. A very interesting address was given by Miss Buchanan, travelling secretary of the Presbyterian Bible Class, on tho subject of " Tho Place That Mothers Hold in the Nation To-day." Tho good wishes of tho meeting were extended to Mrs. E. Bullough (treasurer), who is leaving for a holiday visit to England. Much appreciated letters were read from tho Mount Eden branch. The mouthly magazines were distributed, after which afternoon tea was served and a very pleasant and instructive afternoon thus broagbt to a close.
