Tho monthly meeting of the. League of Mothers was held in tho Masonic Hall, Devonport, last week. Mis. W. Harvey, of Stanley Point, gave a short address on the Ideals of Motherhood and also read a short article on "Peace," by Dr. Mildred Stalev. Songs were sung by Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Scott and tea was afterwards served by the ladies' committee.

The. fifth meeting of the year of the Papatoetoe branch of the Mothers' Union was held last Thursday afternoon in St. George's Church Hall, Papatoetoe. The sjervico was conducted by the Rev. T. H. C.
