PROPOSAL FOR BOROUGH.
INQUIRY NEXT MONTH
[llY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HUNTLY, Monday.
The commission, consisting of Mr. F. If. Levien, S.M.; Mr. M. D. Graham, Commissioner of Lands; and Mr. W. G. McClintoch, district valuer, of Auckland, which has been appointed to report 011 the proposal tn make Huntly a borough, will sit at the lluntlv courthouse on August 18. when all formal objections will be dealt with.
If a favourable report is forthcoming it is expected that a poll will be taken shortly afterwards
