RIVERHEAD CONCERT.
A concert was given by the children of Ihe Kiverhead Public School on Thursday p,veiling to assist the funds of tho school dental clinic. 'J'ho hall was decorated with (lags and Chinese lanterns. An interesting programme of songs, rccitatinns and plays was given and much amusement caused l>y Mcrvyn IJae s novelty item —the Chinese Wizard. Assisting with the programme were Miss Dorothy Sinlon, who gavo some Highland dancing; Mrs. Turner ami M.r. Patterson, songs; and Miss I. Winchostei and Miss G. Sinton, recitations. After the concert supper was served and was fol lowed by dancing. Mr. I Winchostei specially' thanked the teachers of River lieud School, Miss Poore and Mr. W'addcll and all who had helped with tho programme.
