HELENSVILLE DANCE.

RAILWAY CARNIVAL.

The railway carnival dance held in the Star Theatre on Thursday evening was oiio of the most enjoyable dances held in ffelensville for some time. Lvorv effort had been made bv the committee to ensure a successful function. The hall was effectively decorated with greenery and a number of novelty features introduced during the evening were greatly appreciated. Music was provided by a loral orchestra of five instruments under the leadership of Mr. C. Haycock. Visitors from Auckland included Mr. J. K. Lowe, district engineer, X.Z.R.
