PRESERVING PAINTED WOOD.
Brightly-coloured painted wood is very fasliionablo nowadays, but unless tho paint work has a little attention from time to time it has a tendency to develop cracks At regular intervals' it should bo given an application of linseed oil applied with a clean, soft rag. 'J his will suffice to keep the surface in good order.
