NKW YORK, July 21. A plotracled heat wave is still being experienced in the United States. The temperatures in most areas range up to ncarlv 100 degrees.

In New York Cilv the temperature registered to-day was 159 degrees in tho sun. Deaths due to the heat have been numerous, and a large toll has been indirectly taken by the high temperatures.

Crops are suffering very severely. Canadian meteorologists state, that the grain it"ps in (.'anuria will be seriously damaged unless lelief is prompt.
