At (ho international conference of meteorologists at Copenhagen it was decided t-o pursuo further studies of terrestrial magnetism and auroras and of the upper air and general meteorological conditions at the poles. Britain and America and a large number of European countries will participate and New Zealand also will have a share in the undertaking. A New Zealand committee has been formed and has formulated a tentative programme to carry out in the Antarctic.
