Tuesday Criticism of (be education report recently presented to (ho House of Representatives was made bv sonic members at a meeting of the Nelson Education Hoard. The criticism was mainly against what was regarded as tlio centralisation proposal. It was resolved that thn proposed conference of education boards should bo held immediately in order that the report could bo discussed and the opinions of the boards placed before Par liament at the earliest possible moment.
