WOMEN'S COMMITTEE.
REFORM PARTY. The annual meeting of the Auckland Women's Committee of the Now Zealand Political Reform League took place in the league rooms on Monday evening. In approving the secretary's report and financial statement, Dr. Hilda Northcroft, president of the committeo, congratulated members on their activities. It was unanimously agreed that the year had been a most successful one, the social committee having contributed in a large measure to the outstanding success.
A very interesting discussion look placp on canvassing at election time. The chairwoman read some notes on the subject by the organiser, and his ideas were enthusiastically received and commented on. Several members related thoir own experiences of canvassing. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —President, Dr. Hilda Northcroft; vice-presidents, Dr. Buckley Turkington, Mrs. Ferguson, Mrs. Smytlie, Mrs. Russell; hon. secretary, Mrs. Smytho.
