PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES, There, was a very laige attendance at flio, Clevedon Tennis Club's annual ball which was held on Friday evening when ninny visitors from surrounding districts were presold.. 'lhe, hall was prettily decorated and popular music was dispensed by Walker's orchestra. Mr. R. l'>. Hardy, president of the, .Auckland liav.n Tennis .Association, and Mr. K. Ilickson, tho past, jiresident, also attended.
In presenting Iho B grade championship shield won by I lie club during the past season's outer-suburban inter-dub competitions, Mr. Harding congratulated Iho players on their success and wished Ihe dub a prosperous future. r J lie presentation of the clubs championship trophies was made by the president, Mr. A.
