FAREWELL AFTERNOON PARTY In honour of Mrs. P. Simmons, who is leaving Hamilton to live in Tauranga, Mrs. IT. G. Sergei gave a very enjoyable afternoon at Southwell on Friday. The largo living room was decorated in mimosa, Iceland poppies and jonquils. A competition was won by Miss O. Hammond. During the afternoon a, presents tion of a book bearing the signatures of all those present was made to Mrs. Simmons l'«v Mrs. Sergei.

Mrs. Sergei received her guests wearing a frock uf black satin beaufe patterned in led. She was assisted by Mis 3 Xoreen Sergei, who wore, a green and beigo jumper suit. Mrs. Simmons was in floral ring velvet, with a hat to tone, and Miss Elsie Simmons wore an orange and yellow jumper suit and an orange hat. "
