6ir, —Wotild yoa allow me space to air a long-standing grievance of football players who use the Outer Domain grounds ? For some years past the various authorities controlling games played on this ground have repeatedly approached the City Council and asked for more adequate dressing accommodation and the provision of lavatory and washing conveniences. They have been put oft each time with promises. Now at last something is being done, but the alterations instead of being an improvement, have only made matters worse. There are four grounds on this playing area and they are used every Saturday by over 200 players, and each week the City Council collects over £5 from these players in ground fees, yet the only accommodation provided has been a small corrugated iron shed about 20ft. x 12ft., with no water available and no lavatories. Previously this shed stood near the Winter Gardens, but now, presumably, with the object of removing an eyesore, as it undoubtedly was, the council'has seen fit to shift it on to the top of the hill almost out of sight of the playing fields, making it easier for that ever-present menace at all sports grounds, the sneak thief, to carry out his nefarious acts.
