I Sir, —In a recent issue of the Heeaui you published the returns from Mr. W. Stokes' farm for this Inst season. Undoubtedly 3041b. of butter-lat per acre for . a 50-acre farm is very good, but I believe that even those returns can be bettered on smaller farms. Throughout Taranaki, Hauraki Plains and the Waikato there are farms doing just as well, anil in some cases better, and it is a pity that these facts were riot "better known o> financiers. Mr. W.
