THREE CHINESE APPEAR.

AVli.it is believed to be tho fust case of ils kind in Hastings..camo before a justice of tho peace to-day, when throe Chinese were charged in connection with tho use of opium. Len Chqii, aged GO, was charged with being the occupier of premises and that he allowed the smoking of opium on such premised. Louie Wing, aged 53, was charged with having in his possession pipes for use in the smoking of opium. All Mong, aged 28, vas charged with having utensils for opium smoking. A remand was" granted to Wednesday, bail in a surety of £2OO being'.'allowed.
